Steps to set up a Square Cash account\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need a Square Cash account to use Square Cash, but you can set one up either on the Cash website or in the Cash app.<\/p>\n

Create account using the Cash app:<\/em><\/p>\n

  1. From the iTunes App Store or Google Play, search Square Cash<\/li>\n
  2. Download and open the Square Cash app<\/li>\n
  3. Enter your mobile phone number or email address and tap Next<\/li>\n
  4. You\u2019ll receive a confirmation code via SMS text message at the mobile number you entered<\/li>\n
  5. In the app, enter the code in the space provided and tap Next<\/li>\n
  6. Confirm your first and last name and tap Next<\/li>\n
  7. Add a Visa or MasterCard debit card along with the expiration date, CVV, and billing ZIP code<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Create account using the Cash website:<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. Navigate to https:\/\/square.com\/cash\/login<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Enter a mobile phone number or email address then click Request Authorization Code<\/li>\n
    3. You\u2019ll receive a confirmation code either via SMS text message or via email<\/li>\n
    4. Enter the code in the space provided and click Log In<\/li>\n
    5. Confirm your first and last name and click Next<\/li>\n
    6. Add a Visa or MasterCard debit card along with the expiration date, CVV, and billing ZIP code<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
